only did I realise, I had not updated my blog for a few months..I was kinda busy and actually living life than to write a crazy long column about life..

as usual, there are lots of assignments I have to get myself into doing it…Otherwise, its just gonna be a last minute work (again)…You know that feeling you get when you have finished your assignments waaaaayyy before the deadline..? Well, yea, I have yet to indulge myself with that sensation…

For the past 4 weeks, I have been on the constant move..

First 3 weeks I was at Jakarta..Not much happened the night I arrived.Typical evening in Jakarta with all the macet and off to Chillis for dinner. Other than that, most of my time there was spent on sightseeing rather than shopping..Which for me is indeed better..Most of my journey there were photographed and I have uploaded some to my facebook. If riding a bike in Malaysia you think is scary, wait till you ride pillion with a local..GOSH!, they got skills man!!.

Horse riding?

My first time ever on a horse. No small horse I am talking about..and not those silly strolls you get at fairs.NO, this is real skill training horse riding. It is no easy matter riding a horse.. Movies make it looks so easy..The horse I rode was named Sufyan.Damn he is a huge horse..

Tangkuban Perahu

This was where I went to see the volcano craters..Very cold up there too. It was high in the mountains. What I wore was just casual-typical tourist ensemble…shorts,shirt..No doubt it was cold, but some of the locals who went there overdid it. Guess what they wore… Jackets and gloves over their clothes..YUP! jackets! IT was’nt thhaaaatt cold

Tea Plantation

There was also this tea plantation we went to visit..Cant recall the name now though. It was cold there as well..Colder than Tangkuban if not the same. First we had a tour around the factory-like building where they dry the leaves and pack the tea.Later we took an 8km walk in the plantation itself.So many pictures were taken by my mum.Ughh..

After the tea plantation, we took the chance to check out the paragliding place they had not far from the plantation..I was psyched and wanted to try it.. Then it happened..right in front of my eyes. A guy was pulling up his parachute to begin his run down the cliff and start the para-thingy..BUT!!, the chute was not caught by the wind..He didnt notice and kept running towards the end of the cliff..Lucky he managed to stop in time..THAT WAS SCARY! Litteraly, one more step would have costed him his life. So, I backed out from trying this adrenaline-pumping activity.

FOOD

To top it off, we tried more food this time around..I still can’t get used to Indonesian food. After eating at the stalls, I was sick like a dog the rest of the day. Aghh. The food was nice. Guess it was not prepared with the normal hygiene standards I and so many others are used to.

Kuching

I was in Kuching for one week after my trip to Jakarta. This time around, I got to drive around in my uncle’s Vios..OOO, vios..I like that car..Cant say the same for the newer model though..Drove pretty far too…Went up all the way to Serian..And that was what(?), my 9th time behind the wheel of any car..So, yea..

LOCAL BANDS

Is it just me or are there no REAL new bands that lasts here in Malaysia? They come and go it seems..Maybe its caused by the major piracy issue in the entertainment sector.

The other day, for Malaysian Studies, I was preparing the slideshows for the presentation in class (yea, i know, kind of last minute update)..I inserted some news articles I extracted from the net and quickly put it into the show without even reading it.

Hey all…Just finished my Malaysian Studies class just now at 4..Last class for this module..Yipee!

Call me crazy or what, but i sense a little bit of racism in my teacher’s attitude..Her classes are seldom boring though. The way i see it, her racism remarks makes sense..Most of the time anyway.

Anyway, my group presented a slide show on Piracy.No, not pirates of the carribean style..More of the ciplak2 stuff.

I cant tell whether the class was interested on our show or not. They were all just quiet throughout the presentation. Even when other teams were presenting.Yea, i know, typical Malaysians right..(?)

Like Fridays of past, the SA (students Association) building (tempat lepak for us, students) turns into an arcade/cinema/general lepak-ing place after classes..Now that the exam week is approaching, attitudes are different. Most are playing in a quieter manner or not playing at all.

Exam stress

I am not sure how stressfull 1st semester Foundation test can be. The last test I had was ok.. But this is the final test for the semester and carries more marks. I guess people here are extremely good at managing their time so much so that they are enjoying a movie and/or playing computer games this evening. Test starts Monday…My strategy for this coming test is like the strategy I used for SPM. READ! not memorise! and plenty of last minute exercise…Even the last test I did that and my results were not bad..

Assignment Tips

The way I see it, don’t start late. I started doing my animation thing for IT 2 weeks prior to the presentation and finshed doing it early. The last few days before presenting, I just added some more animations and I scored 18.2/20…NICE! Equally important, choose your team mates carefully..You would’nt want to wind up with stooges who just waste time on other stuff and not get serious with the assignments.

I read this article and felt really sorry for the lone survivor.. Yea, i know the crash was a few days ago..

Now this is where my imagination kicks in. Not intended to make fun of her, just to share my imagination with my readers..

Have you all played Bioshock? The player controls the ‘lone survivor’ which turned out to not even be a passenger on the crashed plane. Anyway, weird things happened!!

What if the girl from this real-life situation suddenly had that bioshock moment?? Wouldnt that be sick!

Call me superstitious or what, I personally think theres a reason to her being the only survivor..

I was extremely sadden when I read that her only request was to see her mum..Her uncle told her that her mum was in the next room.. Is that ok to lie to her like that? I don’t know….

For the past few days, I have not gotten proper sleep..thanks to some friends of mine..Dont worry, I have no more classes now..I just need to do my own studies for my tests next week after which I am free for 2 months..yaay me..My gosh, just contemplating about the 2 month holiday is mind blasting..no longer the stage of mind blowing..anything can blow your mind away….This is MIND BLASTING..( thanks to Russel peters for the term)

About my test, I am soooo worried about the Engineering Mechanics test paper.Not so much that I dont understand it..I do..seriously, I do understand it…most of it anyway.Problem is the questions and the sample questions are like heaven and earth…So far, I can answer questions that are 2 stars difficulty..3 stars gets tough..I sure hope I can do better by the time test day (or D-DAY as I want to call it) comes…

Anyway, back to the topic..I have been ordering food in the middle of the morning..Yes, morning..not night..Moning as in as 2 am from some shops outside of campus…The price is a bit more than the normal price..But what else is there to have when you are starving in the middle of the morning. My gosh, it is 12 am now..

FYI, I didnt order the usual this morning because I had beef-egg-cheese burger and japanese curry with rice..Yummy..

After 2 months of eating cafeteria food, no matter how nice it is, trust me when I say, it makes me sick.

This coming holiday season is gonna be one hell of a holiday for me. As I sit here in this dark tv room at my University, listening to Avenged Sevenfold, Im wondering what ever happened to A7x.. I hope they would come out with a new album soon.

Anyway, Im watching Lockdown on Nat geo…o wait!, was watching…Thanks Saktish for changing the channel. Anyway, the show was about sex offensers. And then I recalled this Malay drama I watched this morning ( 2am,I think)..Melor tetap Harum was the title if not mistaken. The brother of this chick,uhhh…..the name escapes my mind right now.. Anyway, he is a SICK PERVERTED guy… I mean, he was watching his sister in her room dressing up after shower..How sick is THAT!

Throughout that whole show though, my friends and I were making fun of the show. I mean, its like a typical local drama with weird acting and bad sound effect. What else is there to do..right?
